BORACAY Island - Reality or Dream?

Life in a megalopolis moves very fast. We are always busy, constantly running somewhere, trying to do 10 tasks at the same time. Relaxation has become just impossible for us but everyone has got a moment when they just want to escape and wake up one morning in a totally peaceful and magic place. I’m told on good authority if you are looking for such a place, you HAVE to go to Boracay Island.

You might have a perfect life but still feel that a piece of your happiness is missing. You can travel around the world looking for it. Every time you visit a new place you might think that there you can find the lost piece and finally reach the perfection of happiness but it is not easy and you leave very disappointed and carry on looking for new destinations. One day you finally arrive in Boracay and your life completely changes. You feel something you have never felt before and this beautiful feeling will be felt by everyone who comes to this fantastic island. The first person who told me about Boracay island was my friend Sorin whose story I am going to tell.

Sorin arrived in Boracay two years ago in 2011 and he just fell in love with the island. It was the place where he felt free, happy and contented. He met lots of young people who had come to visit the island and never left it. Everything else seemed to be so unimportant for them that they decided to spend the rest of their lives on Boracay where every day was another happy day with no worries. Sorin was so impressed by the lifestyle on the island that he moved there. He found new friends, met lots of interesting  people from all over the world and decided to do photography and travel PR. I asked him to tell me his impressions about the life he has got now and here is what he said:

“Boracay is the place where you can spend your time not only being with friends and family but also alone. Even if the island is small you will never get bored there. If you like practicing sports you will find lots of people passionate about windsurf, kiteboarding, scuba diving and skimboarding. You can also become one of them and discover your hidden passions. If you need to relax you can enjoy the wonderful White Beach lying on the sand listening to the waves’ sound but also have a relaxing massage on the beach or at “massage stations”. If you want to spend some time dreaming and discovering something you have never seen before have a walk around the island and see the incredibly beautiful views. Go in a boat tour and find out virgin beaches, small islands and just feel the freedom being in the middle of the ocean. After an active or relaxing or spiritual day (every day can be different for you) you can join the beach party where people dance, drink and have fun until the morning. I've seen lots of people who left behind their previous lives and found peace and happiness here. There is something special about this place I can not explain…but one thing I am certain about – this island is magical.”

I am still asking myself is Boracay dream or reality? I would be happy to accept both of them. If it is a dream – it is the most beautiful thing I can see when my eyes are closed and if it is reality – this is the place where I want to be!

Love for Shoes - English Style

"Men I may not know, but shoes, shoes I know."

When I think about shoes I always think about Carrie Bradshaw. What style would she choose? What color would she go for? What designers would she prefer?

And if Carrie was British what brand would she opt for? I've got an answer for this question: She would choose Russell & Bromley.

I am sure she would love this brand as it is a proper English brand which provides the best quality, style, fashion, value and, of course, prestige.

What's in fashion this season? I would start with the colors. If you open any fashion magazine you will notice that white shoes are must-haves of this season. The studs were introduced to us last year and everyone loved them, that’s why they are in fashion this season as well.

When planning what to purchase it mustn't be forgotten English weather is unpredictable. Therefore every lady needs a pair of ankle boots. I've chosen Chelsea ankle boots which are long-established British classic. Beige nubuck is easy to match with lots of outfits and the light color is always suitable for summer.

If you are looking for high heels you must go for pointy shoes with thin heels. They will make you look elegant, smart and sexy. You can wear them to important business meetings and also to cocktail parties. Black patent shoes will always be women’s best choice.

I am sure that every girl about town has got a pair of ballerinas. I went for white and black style but they also come in beige, tan, navy, black and  red colors. They’ve got a great quality as they are leather shoes with rubber sole. At the same time they are very lightweight, soft and easy to take care of.

Women always don’t have enough free time and enough shoes…Just because IT WILL NEVER BE ENOUGH.

Dare to be Colourful

It is already the middle of spring but still we wait for London to emerge from the freezing cold of winter. Choosing clothes has sadly been on their ability to help us survive rather than any form of self-expression. Beneath the thick overcoats are our feelings frozen as well? The truth is that they never die and love changes everything.

So  I was wondering what a girl in love would  wear. She is not like everyone, she is happy, she doesn’t mind these cold days as long as her soul is warm.

Delving deeper I asked some of  my girlfriends what they would wear being in love. Here is the result: no one has chosen such colors as black, grey or brown. They preferred bright and colorful clothes.
